Department Showcases 2013 Action with YouTube Video

It seems that a growing trend throughout the departments across the country has been creating videos at the end of the year showing off all of the action your departments saw. I created several of these back in the day at my volunteer department, and they were pretty simple to create. Nowadays, the departments that are creating them have helmet cam footage, cameras mounted to the trucks, footage from inside of the houses, and photos all tied into one video with the most badass rock music jamming in the background.

Talk about PRIDE: What better way to show off the PRIDE for your department than by creating a video of your members, your training, and your incidents?

Here is a local department to me out of Marion, Virginia, that just released their 2013 Video:

These videos are GREAT for recruitment of new members, and can really turn heads of those who have been contemplating on giving firefighting a chance.

Does your department have a video? If so, post it to our Facebook Page or in the comments below!
