Members of Kingsport Fire purchased needed supplies for local families this holiday season.
The Kingsport Fire Department Rescue Fund is a tradition that has been ongoing for a number of years. The money is collected from the members of the Department around the Holiday Season to benefit local families that are in need. This year, approx. $700 was raised to benefit a local family in need, and also to help a family who recently lost their belongings in a house fire. Special thanks to Engineer Gene Lady for continuing to head up this benefit.
