As a 7 year old, Weston Keeton would have no idea the impact that he is making nationwide alongside those men and women he loved, the firefighters.
March 23rd, 2017 marked the 3rd “Angel-Versary”, the date of young Weston’s death, that the Keeton Family has turned into a day of giving and sharing of love. This year, it is estimated that nearly 250 fire stations nationwide were visited in Weston’s name. Julie Keeton, Weston’s Mom, has received a response from families and friends from one side of the country to the other, of other individuals that were touched by her son’s story.
Feed the Fire is a movement to spread Weston’s story of his dream to be a Firefighter, and the courage and strength that he had while fighting his medical issues. Families deliver bottled water, snacks, meals, and even desserts to firefighters from his hometown in Kingsport, TN, all the way to New Zealand!
In just three years, the event has grown substantially.
